MicroZap is a spin-off Technology from Texas Tech University. MicroZap is a bio-tech company that sterilizes foods (fresh or processed) without cooking or damaging the food. MicroZap's process has proven to extend shelf life on bread and tortillas for up to 60 days, thus eliminating waste. MicroZap can also kill the deadly superbug MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus).
