Mid Michigan College is a higher education institution serving the mid-Michigan region. It expands access to learning and cultural experiences through student showcases, guest speakers, and lifelong education classes, while maintaining small class sizes and academic support to help students succeed. Each year thousands of learners pursue enrichment, transfer pathways, or technical training, with a focus on guidance that supports their goals and local workforce needs. Headquartered in Harrison, Michigan, the college has operated for more than five decades within the regional higher education landscape. In 2026, President Tim Hood announced his retirement, effective June 30, signaling a leadership transition. That year also saw a collaboration with Bandit Industries to support skilled trades education and the naming of the welding lab.
