Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is a nonprofit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to people with limited income, as well as individuals with disabilities and adults aged 60 and older. With offices in Minneapolis, St. Cloud, and Willmar, it serves 20 counties in central Minnesota. Its practice spans housing, family, government benefits, disability, health, seniors, youth, consumer, immigration, and tax matters, delivered through direct advice and representation, while it engages in policy advocacy and collaborations with community organizations to advance rights and provide outreach. The organization operates three statewide programs—the Minnesota Disability Law Center, the Legal Services Advocacy Project, and Legal Services State Support. It pursues policy advocacy and collaborates with community organizations to expand access to justice for its clients. In March 2026, MMLA announced a partnership with Lyft Inc.
