Regional utility focus Mile High Contracting is a licensed and insured underground utility contractor operating across multiple western states (Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada), presenting opportunities for cross-state service expansions and multi-state project collaborations.

Emergency to full service Originating as a 24-hour emergency repair contractor, the company now offers a wide range of aerial and horizontal directional drilling underground services, suggesting upsell potential to clients needing integrated underground utility solutions and maintenance programs.

Mid-market capacity With 11-50 employees and revenue in the 50 to 100 million range, Mile High targets mid-market projects where larger contractors may outsource specialized utility work, presenting a corridor for strategic partnerships and subcontracting opportunities.

Experienced leadership Over 70 years of combined managerial experience signals reliability and stability for clients seeking long-term partnerships, enabling sales pitches around project continuity, risk reduction, and seasoned on-site execution.

Industrial competitiveness The company operates in a competitive landscape with major national players; aligning messaging around local market access, responsive service, and regional familiarity can help win bid opportunities where large firms underperform on localization and speed.
