Established in 1984 by a vote of the Tennessee Annual Conference of United Methodist and opened our doors for business in 1985, Miriam's Promise is a full-service non-profit agency serving families and children in Middle Tennessee. We are dedicated to promoting healing and emotional health by providing pregnancy counseling, mentoring, child and family counseling, and adoption services. We provide clients with every resource needed to allow them to heal, explore options, and make decisions that are right for them. We offer hope and renewal to birthparents, pregnancy clients, adoptive families, children, and families as they struggle with issues of grief, loss, and despair. Through extensive counseling and true caring, Miriam's Promise returns healthy individuals and strong families to our society. The heart of our mission is to ensure the well-being of children—before, during, and after birth.
