Mid-market focus With a revenue range of $10M-$25M and a team size of 11-50 employees, target midsize institutions and developers seeking scalable, transparent partners for preconstruction, design-build and facilities services that can compete with larger contractors on value and client service.

Digital readiness Leveraging a modern tech stack including AWS, Google Cloud, WordPress, and Module Federation suggests strong capabilities for project data management, collaboration, and scalable digital experiences, enabling proposals that emphasize efficiency, BIM/CMC integration, and secure cloud workflows.

Sustainability angle Emphasize integrity and craftsmanship as differentiators alongside potential sustainability outcomes (energy efficiency, durable interiors, quality renovations) to align with corporate and institutional buyers prioritizing long-term lifecycle value and responsible construction.

Competitive landscape Position MJ Settelen against mid-sized national contractors by highlighting agility, transparent pricing, and client-focused service as competitive advantages over larger rivals, while pursuing opportunities through facilities upgrades, tenant improvements, and regulated sector projects in healthcare and education.
