It all came about through one man’s desire to make calls whilst travelling. Mobal was founded in 1989, considering that Cingular was only founded in 2001, Verizon in 2000 and T-Mobile in 1995 this puts our long history in to perspective. Our aim is simple - to provide US travellers with a low commitment, high convenience solution to keep in touch whilst overseas. And there are lots of organisations that think we do a good job! We have received plenty of plaudits from the media, including: Time Magazine, Budget Travel, The Wall Street Journal and washingtonpost.com. However, it’s our customers that really matter.
