ModernHEALTH (MHC) with operations throughout the country, was founded in 1975 and currently operates eight pharmacies; three pharmacies in California focusing on IVIG, HIV, Transplant and Cystic Fibrosis, three pharmacies in Louisiana, Florida, and Texas focusing on Hepatitis C, Oral Oncology, Cystic Fibrosis, and Autoimmune Disorders including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Crohn’s Disease, and a home infusion pharmacy in Dothan, Alabama and in Richardson, Texas. Modern is led by a veteran team including CEO, Dom Meffe, who was founder and CEO of several specialty pharmacy companies including Curascript Pharmacy and Triad Isotopes, Inc. 

MHC has over 40 years of history in managing patients with chronic disease states and was one of the first HIV specialty pharmacies in Southern California.  The company has grown both organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions over the years to its current national footprint. MHC is now the second largest independently owned specialty pharmacy in the country, serving over 15,000 patients monthly. The organization has a national footprint with multiple dispensing facilities and the ability to service patients in all 50 states.
