Montessori Community School operates a traditional Montessori program in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving children from eighteen months through sixth grade. The curriculum covers core academic areas such as language and mathematics, along with sensorial work, practical life skills, geography, and the physical and life sciences, and extends to Spanish, the arts, and technology. The program emphasizes learning beyond the classroom through field trips, environmental expeditions, and community service, while incorporating peace education and environmental stewardship.

The school organizes its offerings into age-specific programs, with a toddler cohort for eighteen months to three years, an early childhood program for ages three to six, and lower and upper elementary tracks for first through sixth grade. As part of the education administration field, it positions itself as a Montessori option in the Salt Lake City area, offering a structured setting intended to support independent learning and social-emotional development. In 2019, the school announced the installation of two electric vehicle charging points.
