"Established in 1984", We are one of the oldest and best recognized schools in the Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Chantilly and Great Falls area! The excellence of the Montessori School of Herndon’s educational program is based on a non-sectarian, non-traditional and comprehensive approach to education. Our program is carefully planned and balanced to help all of our students acquire strong academic skills, and develop into self-motivated, confident and contributing members of society. We remain focused on rigorous academics without overlooking social development. Our wonderful teachers work closely with students to challenge their minds, exchange ideas, and develop their logical and ethical personalities in a loving, caring, and personalized environment. Through their active roles in the students’ daily lives our teachers become role models with impeccable reputations. The Montessori School of Herndon provides stability and predictability in the students’ lives since many of our educators have been with the school for over twenty years. Since its establishment in 1984, we have had the pleasure and privilege of nurturing thousands of very intelligent, talented, and energetic students that are and will become leaders in their communities.
