Moonbase Studios is an independent motion picture and animation studio based in Los Angeles, CA. It was founded in May 2013 by Nic Anastassiou and Kevin Stermer, former employees of Lucasfilm Animation. Our Goals At Moonbase Studios we believe animation is as powerful and mature a medium as any to tell sophisticated stories; stories that are rich with visual wonder and excitement, but also emotionally engaging and challenging. We are passionate about film and storytelling. Cinema is the sum of every art form combined: photography, music, painting, sculpting, writing... This unique blend is at the heart of every film. It is our goal to discover that heart in every story we tell, and give it shape. Our Projects Moonbase Studios is currently developing 'Bounty', an ambitious science fiction film and game franchise that showcases our company's gold standards: original story telling, breathtaking visuals, riveting action, and powerful emotions.
