MACIPA is a physician membership organization, founded in 1985 and based in Brighton, Massachusetts, that coordinates a network of physicians with privileges at Mount Auburn Hospital. It comprises nearly 500 primary care physicians and specialists serving patients across communities in the Boston area, including Cambridge, Belmont, Watertown, Waltham, Somerville, Lexington, Arlington, Allston/Brighton, Newton, and Medford. Collectively, MACIPA's physician members enroll about 250,000 patients in their practices.

MACIPA participates in value-based care initiatives within the broader CMS framework, including the Medicare Pioneer Contract legacy and the Medicare Shared Savings Program, and it was the first physician organization to participate in the Alternative Quality Contract. The organization collaborates with its physicians to design and manage programs focused on quality improvement, care management, population management, patient experience, health information exchange, and pharmacy, aiming to improve outcomes and reduce hospital admissions. In December 2019, MACIPA announced the appointment of a new pharmacist, Paulette Polk-Scanlan, to fill a role previously held by Gene Muise.
