Mount Vernon School is a private, independent PreK–12 institution located in the Atlanta metro area, with campuses in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Grounded in Christian values, it emphasizes inquiry, innovation, and impact as it educates students. The curriculum centers on Design Thinking and Project Based Learning, prioritizing solving people-centered problems and developing real-world skills through empathy; students collaborate with external partners including Delta, Porsche, Chick-fil-A, the Magic Wheelchair Project, the City of Sandy Springs, and the Center for Civil and Human Rights to bring learning into the wider community.

The school serves more than 1,250 students across two campuses and aims to prepare all students to be college-ready, globally competitive, and engaged citizen leaders. In the last fifteen years it has positioned itself as an innovator in education, building a recognizable Atlanta brand and a global structure that includes an Atlanta flagship, an R&D consultancy, Mount Vernon Ventures, and a global campus known as MVSO; this includes renovations of flexible, student-centric learning spaces. Founded in 1972 and based in Sandy Springs, the school is part of the metro Atlanta private education landscape.
