Since 1949, Mountain States Steel has been supplying and installing custom fabricated structural steel for construction projects throughout the Western United States. From highway bridges to athletic stadiums and power plants, Mountain States Steel has provided structural steel that has allowed millions of people to speed along major highways and freeways to enjoy sporting events in either a spectacular sports arena or the comfort of their home in front of the television. Mountain States Steel, founded and still owned by the Olsen family, has grown to become an important player in the construction industry. As an AISC Category III Certified Fabricator, we offer a wide variety of fabricated steel. Located at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in Lindon, Utah, our modern facility is well equipped with the latest CNC machines for precision cutting and drilling. Our shop capacity is in excess of 1500 tons per month. Mountain States Steel has approximately 32 acres and 172,000 square feet under bridge cranes with a picking capacity up to 120 tons. Because of the versatility of our facility and skilled employees, Mountain States Steel has the ability to fabricate a wide variety of steel products. We've provided structural steel on many bridges along the I-15 corridor, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Industrial projects include a power plant for Hong-Kong Electric, Intermountain Power Plant, and Vandenberg Air Force Base Space Launch Complex #6. Mountain States Steel has also supplied steel for many commercial projects. Some of these projects include the King Pin and Radial Trusses for the LDS Conference Center, Little America Grand Hotel, and Echelon Grand Theater in Las Vegas.
