Movement | DFW is a faith-centered initiative in the Dallas area that seeks to unite churches, faith-based nonprofits, and marketplace leaders to address spiritual and social needs in the city. It originated from a conversation among church leaders—Mac Pier, Tim Keller, and Bob Doll—who identified global urban challenges: aging Christianity, rapid migration into cities, and divisions within the church across race and denomination. Rather than operating as a conventional ministry, it functions as a platform intended to incubate and accelerate collaborative efforts among diverse actors to increase citywide impact.

The organization aims to convene and collaborate with the DFW faith community to design, mobilize, and invest in long-term strategies that address the gospel-aimed transformation of the city. In 2018, it focused on developing strategy and action plans in four core areas: racial reconciliation and unity, city-wide spiritual transformation, poverty alleviation and job creation, and education transformation to protect at-risk children. It is based in Dallas, Texas, and operates as a small organization.
