Diverse Theatre Focus MOXIE Theatre Company is a professional non profit focused on presenting diverse and honest portrayals of women, primarily through female playwrights. This presents a sales opportunity with female-focused publishers, script wholesalers, and educational partners seeking inclusive content and partnerships with women-led arts organizations.

Strategic Partnerships Recent and ongoing partnerships with bookstores, comic studios, and cultural organizations (Mystgalaxy, Little Fish Comic Book Studio, San Diego Audubon) indicate a tendency to collaborate with eco-system players and niche communities. Leverage these networks for cross-promotional events, sponsorships, and bundle offers.

Leadership Expansion Appointment of Desireé Clarke as executive artistic director signals potential for increased programming, audience development, and fundraising capacity. Target funders, donors, and corporate sponsors aligned with leadership and strategic growth in the arts sector.

Community Initiatives Making Space initiative and emphasis on voices of women of color demonstrate social impact and inclusion. Prospects for grant opportunities, partnerships with diversity-focused foundations, and community outreach programs that align with corporate social responsibility goals.

Funding Landscape Operating as a small to mid-size nonprofit with revenue under $1M across comparable local theatres suggests opportunities in sponsorships, licensing, and gratefully received grants. Propose tiered sponsorship packages and grant-ready collaboration models tailored to regional arts funders.
