Municon Consultants is the leader in vibration, noise & specialty geotechnical instrumentation monitoring in California. We conduct pre-construction photo documentation of existing conditions for our ENR 100 Clients as a "Litigation Mitigation" from unfounded claims of damages from construction activities by neighbors. We have provided our geotech monitoring services on notable projects including the SF Giants baseball stadium, the new SF/Oakland Bay Bridge, the Cypress Freeway reconstruction, Presidio Parkway Proj/Doyle Drive Golden Gate Bridge Approach Design-Build projects and the new CPMC Van Ness Geary Hospital and Medical office buildings currently under construction. We conducted the photo 'mapping' of existing conditions during the seismic renovations of historic buildings such as the Palace of the Honor, the SF & LA City Halls, the SF Presidio's Stillwell Hall, 4 of the oldest [1910-21] brick buildings at SF General Hospital, the War Memorial Veterans bldg. and others. We are currently providing our services on the super-tall 61 story Salesforce Tower, the 40 story 340 Fremont and the 46 story 706 Mission/Mexican Museum projects, amongst many other high rise projects in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
