Founded in 1986, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Central Florida (NAMICF) is an organization dedicated to the eradication of the stigma associated with mental health and to the improvement of the quality of life for all whose lives are affected by these conditions.

NAMI Central Florida is affiliated with NAMI Florida, Inc., an organization that includes more than 30 local affiliates and 2,000 members across the state of Florida.  NAMICF serves Orange and Seminole counties.
