Nanostim developed the world’s first leadless cardiac pacemaker. The company was founded in 2007 by Peter Jacobson, Alan Ostroff, and Allan May.  The company was sold to St Jude Medical in 2013. Abbott purchased St Jude Medical in 2017 and changed the name of the Nanostim pacemaker to Aveir™.

Nanostim has assembled a world-class team of experienced medical device engineers to help bring this exciting technology to the marketplace.

Nanostim was sold to St. Jude Medical in October 2013.
