The Naperville Park District is an independent municipal agency within government administration established in 1966 to serve the recreation needs of Naperville residents. Based in Naperville, Illinois, it manages more than 2,500 acres across 150+ parks and facilities and offers more than 900 recreational, arts and environmental programs and events each year. Its facilities include two championship golf courses, a wide array of courts and sports fields, and inline skating and skateboarding venues, along with attractions such as the Millennium Carillon, a paddle boat quarry, Centennial Beach and the Riverwalk.
