National Alzheimer's Buddies is a mid-sized organization in the hospitals and health care sector, based in North Andover, Massachusetts. It facilitates intergenerational engagement by coordinating weekly one-on-one visits between younger volunteers and residents in long-term care facilities who are in the intermediate-to-late stages of Alzheimer’s disease, with the aim of reducing social isolation.
