The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is a national advocacy organization in the hospitals and health care sector that supports Community Health Centers and seeks to expand access to high-quality, affordable care for medically underserved and uninsured populations. It analyzes CHC activities to inform local, state, and national understanding of their value within the U.S. health care system, and it provides training and technical assistance to health center staff and boards to strengthen operations and governance. In 2026, NACHC announced collaborations with CareQuest Institute for Oral Health to advance oral health integration and workforce development, and with the Joint Commission and Joint Commission International to develop education, training, advisory services, and accreditation resources for CHCs nationwide that serve about 52 million people.
