The National Energy Board is Canada’s national energy regulator. We oversee safety for the full life cycle of an energy infrastructure project – from approval to construction to operation to abandonment. We work with communities, sharing the goal of making the infrastructure we regulate as safe as it can be. The people who work at the NEB are among the most knowledgeable professionals in the business, including: engineers, environmental specialists, auditors, inspectors, engagement staff, legal, and administrative specialists.
