The National Language Service Corps (NLSC) is a congressionally authorized program that provides U.S. Federal agencies with vital language, regional expertise, and cultural support. When a critical language need arises, the NLSC taps its members to support Government agencies through translation, interpretation, instruction, and cultural advising. 

The NLSC’s highly skilled membership of more than 12,500 language professionals offers expertise in over 550 languages and dialects. In turn, members benefit from a wide variety of professional training, testing, and networking opportunities provided by the NLSC. The NLSC serves more than 70 partners spanning the entire U.S. Government.
