National Park Medical Center began in 1954 as Ouachita Memorial Hospital to meet the medical needs of the Garland County area.  Today, we are proud to be a community health leader for Hot Springs and the surrounding communities.  NPMC is a 163-bed full-service acute care hospital, providing a comprehensive range of medical services and high quality care including interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, imaging technology, infectious disease treatment, geriatric behavioral health services, maternity services, inpatient rehabilitation and more. We are a forward thinking, innovative hospital where trust, teamwork and technology come together to make a positive difference in the health of our community and region. Our Joint Commission accreditation powerfully demonstrates our commitment to meet the highest national standards for quality and safety.  NPMC serves as a regional referral hub to provide access to a high level of care, technology and services to outlying rural communities.  Our partnership with Survival Flight Medical Flight services allows our services to be within minutes of those outlying areas.
