We are turning waste into value. By degassing all the organic waste and residues from households, agriculture, and food industries, we provide molecules, that step by step helps customers worldwide reduce their carbon footprint. At the same time, we make sure that all the nutrients in the organic waste is reused as fertilizer. Our story starts in the late 1970s, when we built and operated the gas network that was supposed to prevent a new oil crisis on behalf of the Danish government. Since then, we are no longer operating the grid but in 2015, we opened our first large-scale biogas plant, now we have 13 in Denmark, 1 in France and three in the US, and from 2023 we have been part of Shell – now operating as one global time as Shell Low Carbon Solutions Biogas.
