NatureScot is a Scottish government body charged with safeguarding Scotland's natural environment, helping people enjoy and value it, and promoting sustainable use. It reports to Scottish Government Ministers and, through them, to the Scottish Parliament. Much of its work is conducted in partnership with local authorities, other government bodies, businesses, community groups, land managers, and a wide range of representative organisations.
