NCALA, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a non-profit trade association focused on promoting the development and operation of quality assisted living communities in the state. The organization supports its members by helping families locate appropriate communities through a find a community service and by providing continuing education credits, while also regularly advising state regulators and lawmakers on policies that affect seniors and their families. In 2021, NCALA partnered with K4Connect to expand technology-enabled support in senior living communities, including initiatives to deploy Echo Show devices to address COVID-19-related challenges.
