Nebraska Indian Community College is a tribal higher education institution based in Macy, Nebraska, with additional campuses in Santee and South Sioux City. It is chartered by the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and the Santee-Sioux Nation. The college offers degrees and certificates, as well as dual credit and enrichment programs designed to support lifelong learning for Umonhon (Omaha), Isanti (Santee Dakota), and other learners. In 2025 NICC launched the Indigenous Environmental Health Bachelor's program and announced a second Bachelor's program for fall 2025. As a tribal college, NICC positions itself within the higher education landscape by partnering with tribal nations to provide education and opportunities to regional Native communities and other students.
