NP&V was formed in 1997 through merging of Charles Voorhis & Associates with Nelson & Pope (a 50-year tradition in engineering and related services) to create an environmental planning firm with a wealth of experience to bring to complex environmental problem solving, planning and feasibility, resource assessment and site investigations. Our employees are recognized as experts in environmental, land use and planning issues and represent local Towns and Villages, builders, development companies, investors, not-for-profit organizations, business owners, homeowners, banks and lending institutions, larger governmental bodies municipal and regulatory boards and agencies. The firm serves governmental and private sector clients in preparing creative solutions in the specialized area of complex environmental project management and land use planning and analysis. Several years ago, NP&V expanded our staff of professionals to include a Director of Grants Management Services as well as an Economist that specializes in market analysis and fiscal/economic impact analyses. In addition, in 2015, NP&V expanded our environmental services to provide expanded stormwater management and green infrastructure services. In 2015 we expanded our geographic range to better serve the Hudson Valley and we are pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2017, Turner Miller Group has joined NP&V to expand our services and capabilities in the Hudson Valley and now have a fully staffed office in Rockland County.
