Nemadji Research Corporation (NRC) is a data management and software development company that operates as a final screen – a safety net - for health care providers in cost recovery and revenue maximization. As a “Last-in-Line” post Third Party Liability (TPL) contractor, NRC’s work starts after all other eligibility identification operations have ended. NRC utilizes its sophisticated proprietary software to blend technology and human judgment that enables it to identify and discover eligibility others have not found. As a “Last-in-Line” contractor, NRC’s process is built to work on aged accounts that are in a self-pay, bad debt, and charity care status and typically does not start monitoring for eligibility until the date of service is at least 4-6 months. NRC’s methodology is unique in maximizing revenue to hospitals. Our continued success is based primarily on two factors. First, we have spent many years perfecting an extensive electronic archive of service data and eligibility information with a proprietary superimposed index linking all information from multiple source files with everything we know about a patient. And second, unlike other vendors with less well developed automated systems, NRC tackles labor-intensive paper chasing and documentation activities. Since 1998, NRC has generated nearly $300 million in revenue for its clients. In each instance, NRC follows other revenue enhancement vendors and produced significant results.
