Who We Are NEST is a 501c3 non-profit, HUD certified organization that was founded in 1980 with the purpose of revitalizing neighborhoods and creating homeownership opportunities throughout Greater Waterbury and beyond. Our purpose reflects the organization’s embrace of a broad range of business lines and programs to meet its objectives of community revitalization and individual economic empowerment. Service Area NEST serves low-to-moderate income individuals/families in Waterbury and 20+ other communities in Western Connecticut, including Danbury, Naugatuck and Torrington.
