Net Zero Technology Centre is a not-for-profit organization in the utilities sector that brings together industry, government, and academia to drive technology innovation aimed at accelerating the energy transition to net zero. In 2026, NZTC expanded its collaborations under the ARGOS Joint Industry Project with major energy companies, including Petrobras and TotalEnergies, to advance a heavy-duty operator robot designed for operation in extreme temperatures (-20°C to 60°C). Additional partnerships with Enertechnos Europe Limited and FutureOn Limited illustrate ongoing efforts to test technologies at scale and to support more informed decision-making in offshore wind and other low-carbon energy initiatives.
