Network of Community Ministries is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a service area encompassing the 14 zip codes that make up the Richardson ISD. Founded in 1985, Network began during an economic downturn when several churches and community organizations came together to form an alliance to assist families in need, and thus the term “Network” of Community Ministries was born. Today, Network is a non-denominational, community-based organization serving more than 26,000 unique individuals annually Current programming embodies our efforts to care, coach and empower and includes Emergency Services (food, clothing, utilities and rent), Seniors' Net (supplemental food, handyman service, companion calls, information and referrals), Stabilization Programs (Pathways case management and stability planning, Job Resource Center, and Financial Empowerment Classes), Mental Health Service, as well as seasonal youth programming including Toyland Express and Tools for Schools.
