Nevada Public Radio is a nonprofit media organization based in Las Vegas that operates public radio stations and offers print and digital content. Its network includes News 88.9 KNPR and Classical KCNV 89.7, along with seven FM stations, 11 translator stations and associated HD channels, delivering a mix of local, national and international news, entertainment and cultural programming. The organization articulates a mission to inform, educate and inspire audiences in order to enhance quality of life and civic engagement, and it aims to be Nevada's leading independent source of information and cultural expression. It serves more than 2.7 million people in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and publishes Desert Companion magazine. In October 2023, Favian Perez was appointed interim CEO following the retirement of Mark Vogelzang.
