The New Hazlett Theater for the Performing Arts is the non-profit organization founded in February 2004 to oversee the renovation and launch of the Hazlett Theater as a multi-use performing arts facility. 

Arts presenters, producers and artists rent the theater for a range of programs, including dramatic theater, dance, family programming, performance-art events, music, and spoken word performances, among other programming options. Theater offerings appeal to children, families, and adult audiences.

In 2011, the New Hazlett Theater hosted 32,000 visitors and supported the work of over 50 partners. We vow to continue to have a positive impact on our partners as they strive to reach the next milestones in their own programming. We will maintain a strong, positive presence in the North Side Community. We have made a conscious choice to do more than simply operate a venue. Our vision is that the New Hazlett Theater serves as a place that nurtures the arts and connects with the community.
