With a large student base and substantial adult learner intake, there is a clear opportunity to scale employer-sponsored apprenticeship programs across additional local industries, supported by program design, partner engagement, and outcomes tracking.

Digital Platform Modernization Relying on Google Workspace and existing web tech, NHREC can benefit from a unified LMS integration, improved student and staff portals, and data analytics. We can help with e-learning content, accessibility improvements, and performance optimization to boost learning outcomes and operational efficiency while ensuring security.

Security and Performance Current security tooling includes Sucuri; we can offer ongoing security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, WAF, and hosting optimization on Nginx/LiteSpeed to protect 1,500 students and 1,200 adult learners, reduce downtime, and improve site load times.

Regional Collaboration As the largest of Virginia's nine regional centers, NHREC can serve as a hub for regional workforce programs and grant-funded initiatives, with services in program design, evaluation dashboards, partner outreach, and grant management to scale impact.

Adult Education Focus With strong adult learner engagement, there is demand for expanded IT, digital skills, and credentialing; propose corporate training partnerships, microcredentials, online courses, and collaborations with local employers to address in-demand skills and increase program outcomes.
