The New York Planning Federation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1937 to serve municipal zoning and planning boards and the planning community. We provide educational programs that satisfy the state mandated requirements for board member training. Many of our programs also provide credit for code enforcement officers and certified planners. We also offer informative publications on comprehensive planning, zoning and planning board education and offer technical assistance to local boards.
Membership is open to everyone from individuals to municipalities and professional firms. Municipal dues are assessed according to population, while other pay a flat annual fee.
