1982  Steve Terpstra purchased Newport Floor Covering from the Boltons as an employee from the late 70s.
1986 Steve joined the CCA CoOp Carpet One® which is a cooperative of small, independent, family owned, LOCAL flooring and window covering stores, offering better purchasing power for over 1000 stores, helping us stay competitive in the industry.
2014 Newport Floor Covering, Inc. ~ Carpet One Floor & Home® moves to 333 E. 17th Street in Costa Mesa, CA to become a Carpet One Destination Showroom and Design Center offering the largest selection of carpet, wools, custom made area rugs, hardwood, laminate, stone, ceramic and porcelain tile, resilient vinyl flooring, luxury vinyl planks, and a complete line of Hunter Douglas window coverings.
