These programs equip students and job seekers with the skills necessary to get a job, keep a job, and advance on the job. Nine Star Education & Employment Services is chartered by the State of Alaska and operates as a not-for-profit corporation with a community service orientation. It offers a wide array of educational and training programs as well as organizational development and technical services locally and statewide. Its educational and training programs are specially designed to prepare job seekers for success in the workplace. Adult education classes, computer instruction, and work readiness workshops are some of Nine Star’s primary programs. Staffed by experienced and enthusiastic professionals, Nine Star offers students, job seekers, and employers knowledge and support for success.
