Norstar Development USA, L.P., is part of a full service development, construction and management group of companies, with main offices in New York, Texas, and Florida. Norstar boasts a wide range of in-house real estate expertise, including land use planning, architectural design, construction/project finance, construction services, property and facilities management, as well as expertise working with state government housing and financing institutions. Norstar is a nationally recognized affordable housing developer and has been ranked for the past five years among the top 50 Affordable Housing Developers in the country by the Affordable Housing Finance magazine; it was the 15th largest in 2013.

Norstar opened its doors in Buffalo, New York 16 years ago. Since that time, Norstar has developed 2,399 units for its 16 public housing authority clients. Norstar’s national holdings now include ownership of over 3,500 units in New York, Texas, Florida and Michigan; it has redeveloped over 3,400 units for non-profit clients, public housing authorities, and its own account.
