Established in 1967, North Alabama Fabricating Company (NAFCO) is a world-class fabricator of structural steel for aggregate and material-handling systems, energy industry equipment, forest products handling equipment, general building construction, and unique, client-specific steel projects.

Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, the industrial hub of the southeastern United States, NAFCO services customers all over the globe, having successfully completed challenging steel projects throughout North and South America as well as Australia.

With two AISC certified shops, a 350,000 square foot, twenty-first century facility in Cullman, Alabama and a 50,000 square foot lite structural, specialty, and miscellaneous metals facility in Winfield, Alabama- combined with a staff that is knowledgeable, experienced, and multi-talented in production and engineering - NAFCO has the facilities and expertise to handle everything from design and structural detailing to manufacturing, erection, and field maintenance. In addition to it's AISC certification, NAFCO holds a Sophisticated Paint Endorsement from the AISC and regularly applies complex multi-coat paint systems and intumescent fireproof coatings.
