Americans are not getting the dental care they need. An estimated 181 million people won’t visit the dentist this year, despite the fact that half of adults over the age of 30 suffer from some sort of gum disease and nearly 1 in 4 children under the age of 5 already has cavities. Our member dentists, and their counterparts in other states, are working to make a difference across the country. The North Carolina Dental Society is committed to improving oral health by helping all member dentists succeed. We’re here for the dental community—with practice management support, advocacy efforts to protect the dental profession, discounts on products and services, continuing education, networking, opportunities to help others, patient mediation and more. We want to help them, so they can focus on helping others.
