The North Idaho Building Contractors Association (NIBCA) Is a non-profit trade association founded in 1970.  We believe home ownership can and should be within the reach of every American family. Our Government Advocacy committee monitors issues to insure the interests of the home-building industry and the home-buying public are represented.  

NIBCA works with city and county agencies within Kootenai, Benewah  and Shoshone counties to provide leadership and assistance in all  housing-related matters. We are governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Officer.  

The NIBCA is the local representative of the National Association of  Home Builders (NAHB), which is one of the most effective and powerful  lobbying trade associations in Washington, D.C.  NIBCA is also represented at the state level by the Idaho Building Contractors Association (IBCA) composed of all (9) local associations in the state.
