The committee is a grassroots Republican group organized under the Grafton County Republican Committee and Republican Party of New Hampshire. It provides a venue for local Republicans living within the towns north of Franconia Notch to join the discourse of state and national politics by getting involved in their community to ensure Republican candidates are elected at the local, state and national office. Members are committed to the election of Republican candidates for state and local office so the New Hampshire Advantage stays alive. Recently, New Hampshire was named one of the "freest states" in the country from the Mercatus Institute. New Hampshire maintains that status due to low taxes, minimal regulation and fostering the friendliest small business environment in the United States - all while having one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country at 5.2%, with Littleton at 4.5%. The NGCRC represents some of the following towns in Grafton County: Littleton, Bethlehem, Franconia, Sugar Hill, Easton, Lyman, Lisbon, Landaff and Monroe.
