Doyle has lived in Chisago City with his wife, Cheryl, and children, Brittney and Elijah, for the last nine years. The family is involved in the community through volunteer work, sports activities, and church outreach. Doyle coaches basketball, football, and soccer teams and serves on the board of the Lakes Area Recreation Association. He enjoys playing basketball at the YMCA.

Doyle built Northland Home Exteriors with over 20 years of experience in the remodeling business. Those who work with Doyle say, "He is an inspiration and very motivational."
