Northwest Return to Work was established in June 2007 in Lynnwood, Washington by Josh Cobbley, an experienced occupational therapist with a deep understanding of the working-class experience. Growing up in a blue-collar family, Josh developed a strong appreciation for the sacrifices and hardships faced by working individuals. His background and occupational therapy training provided him with valuable insights into the challenges that arise when one's occupation is disrupted. This foundation inspired the creation of Northwest Return to Work, with the goal of offering comprehensive support for those navigating the complexities of work-related interruptions. At Northwest Return to Work, we understand that an interruption in one’s work role can have profound impacts, from financial loss to the psychosocial challenges of adapting to new life roles.
