Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) is part of the Alabama Community College System and home to over 4,200 students. 
NWSCC has been providing postsecondary and workforce education to Northwest Alabama for 60 years. NWSCC provides academic, career technical and lifelong educational opportunities. The College operates two campuses, the Shoals campus in Muscle Shoals and the Phil Campbell Campus in Phil Campbell, located in Franklin County. 

NWSCC offers over 100 certificate and degree programs and is committed to  promoting economic growth and enrich the quality of life for the people it serves.  Students who attend NWSCC to obtain basic educational requirements before transferring on to a four-year college/university save on average 50 to 60 percent on tuition costs.
