Notre Dame Education Center is a non-profit organization based in South Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to providing goal-driven education for adults and youth since 1992. The center operates through three departments that offer a range of programs, including Adult Basic Education, HiSET preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages, a High School Diploma Program delivered through Boston’s Cathedral High School, and a Post-Secondary Preparation program for youth. A key focus is workforce readiness, delivering employability and career-specific training, along with counseling, job-search assistance, and internship opportunities to support students’ success in the local job market. In addition, NDEC provides services such as tutoring, mentoring, a Cyber Cafe, distance and online learning options, and citizenship preparation to serve a diverse student population from Boston and beyond. The organization serves more than 700 students annually and operates within an ecosystem of community-based education and support services designed to foster adult learning and youth advancement.
