Novi is simple security for renters and home owners without contracts and monthly fees and that eliminates false police alarms. Novi is designed to be discreet, user friendly, and affordable. The ceiling-mounted Novi Sensor is armed and disarmed through the user's smartphone app. When it detects either smoke or motion, it takes a series of pictures and sends those pictures to the user's smartphone. With picture in hand, the user can either call the police or ignore the alert if it's a false alarm.

A unique element behind Novi is that the sensors communicate through a base station, which is connected to the internet. Having a base station allows for individuals to sync up multiple cameras in just one house. With multiple cameras, users can feel protected knowing that their house is being watched over.
